Alcyone Star

Alcyone is a star in the constellation of Taurus. Approximately 440 light-years from the Sun, it is the brightest star in the Pleiades open cluster, which is a young cluster, around 100 million years old.
Alcyone was the name given to Jiddu Krishnamurti. At the Feet of the Master a book attributed to Jiddu Krishnamurti (1895–1986), authored when he was 14 years old was written under the name Alcyone.
